The beach in front of our cottage on the Northumberland Strait is the perfect beach for kids. The tides goes out forever, the water is warm, both of which contribute to a fun place to play with a minimal amount of worry for their adults.
Overheard from a different set of little girls than the ones pictured above playing near sunset the day before, as they are swimming and splashing and then one walks back to shore:
“Hey, where are you going?”
“I have to go to the bathroom.”
“Well, just go.”
“What to do you mean?”
“I’m going right now.”
